When do Saannie Care’s paediatric services become available?

As parents of a child with special needs, we know how difficult it may be to entrust someone else with your child’s care.

If a child or adolescent has a learning disability, a physical disability, or requires complex care, our team of experts can help them. We help with things like getting out and meeting new people and taking care of your own needs.

Our care aides and support staff have received specialised training to cope with a wide variety of medical issues and are able to provide treatment for:

  • Preventative Maintenance for a Tracheostomy
  • Traumatic brain damage
  • Asperger’s Syndrome

When it comes to coping with difficult behaviours, autism spectrum disorders, physical limitations, and sensory impairments, our care professionals are ready and able to help.

Support from highly trained medical professionals with specialised abilities can be provided if your child has complex care needs, such as assistance with giving complex medications.

What sort of things do kids do while they’re in care?

Each household is different and calls for a tailored strategy. As a result, Saannie Care provides individualised care plans to each of its clients so that they can enjoy the highest possible standard of living.

Our staff includes certified specialists in the field of children’s care who can provide in-home care as well as outings such as swimming lessons, youth groups, shopping, group socialisation assistance, parks, and the beach. Or, we can simply be present to lend a hand when it’s time to get up or go to bed.

If you’re already getting help from other sources—say, social services, the government, or a nonprofit—we can coordinate our efforts with them to give your child the best possible care.

We can provide care for as little as an hour a day to as long as round-the-clock supervision from a single carer. We are able to provide both continuous and temporary treatment.

Our in-home child care service is a big help to many families because it enables them to give their children the individualised attention they need, which may be difficult to obtain from extended family members who have their own obligations.

The value of childcare

Provide a break for the family.

In order to function well, every human being requires periodic downtime. If you sign up for our respite care services, our trained carers will look after your child while you get some much-deserved rest. Some days as a parent of a child with special needs can be tiring and stressful, taking a toll on your health and relationships. Taking some time each day or week to focus on yourself has been shown to have positive effects on both mental and physical health.

You can spend more time with your loved ones.

We know that a parent’s first priority is always their child. However, there are occasions when we unwittingly neglect our partners, other children, family members, and friends. With the help of our children’s carers, you’ll be able to spend more time with them without worrying that you’re neglecting your special-needs child.

Like a parent than a carer

You can feel more like a parent and less like a caretaker with the help of our services for child care. We get that sometimes you have to put your feelings aside and just do what has to be doneor child care. We get that sometimes you have to put your feelings aside and just do what has to be done. You won’t have to rebuild the wall with our help.

If you’re feeling overwhelmed by caring for your child on a daily basis, our carers are here to lend a helping hand and be a shoulder to lean on. We’re here to relieve some of your stress.

What can we anticipate?

The First Inquiry

One of our staff members will get in touch with your child’s social worker as soon as possible once we get your inquiry to discuss your child’s care needs. Then, after some preliminary evaluation, we’ll get in touch with you. Please feel free to contact us with any inquiries you may have regarding our service or any other element of child care.

Phase of Evaluation

If you’re interested in moving further after our initial contact, we’ll come to your house to evaluate your situation and the level of care your child needs. If your child requires complicated care, our complex team will get in touch for follow-up to ensure that their needs are being fulfilled within the scope of the care plan.

Get to know the carer.

Once the evaluation is over, we will set up a time for personnel to meet with the parents, child, and carers before any care is provided.
I’m sending you a care package.

Setting a start date and finalizing all other details will be the penultimate stage. As soon as it is established, you can start your treatment.

Care Inspectorate Wales

The Care Inspectorate Wales (CIW) is an independent regulatory body responsible for the inspection and regulation of social care and childcare services in Wales. It operates under the Welsh Government and is dedicated to ensuring the safety, quality, and effectiveness of these services.

CIW carries out inspections of various care providers, including residential care homes, domiciliary care agencies, children’s homes, fostering services, and day-care facilities. Its primary aim is to protect and promote the well-being of individuals who use these services, including children, young people, and vulnerable adults.

Through its inspections, CIW assesses the compliance of care providers with relevant legislation, regulations, and standards. It examines factors such as the quality of care, safeguarding procedures, staff training and qualifications, premises suitability, and service user involvement. CIW provides detailed reports on its findings, highlighting areas of improvement and commendation.

In addition to inspections, CIW also offers guidance, advice, and support to care providers, helping them meet the required standards and improve the quality of their services. It promotes transparency and accountability in the social care and childcare sectors, ultimately aiming to enhance the experiences and outcomes of individuals receiving care in Wales.
