Who we are, and what we stand for
We’re a healthcare staffing and home care provider across North Wales.
SAANNIE MEDICAL SERVICES brings two services together under one roof. Our staffing agency, based in Wrexham, supplies vetted and trained Health Care Assistants, Support Workers, Registered General Nurses, Registered Mental Health Nurses and Senior Carers to care homes, mental health settings and the wider NHS and private sector. Alongside this, our domiciliary and complex care teams in Wrexham, Newtown (Powys), Flintshire and Denbighshire support people directly in their own homes, and our dedicated Children Services division cares for children and young people with complex and additional needs. We operate 24 hours a day, seven days a week, and can respond at short notice.
Our mission is straightforward: safe, reliable, person-centred care and staffing, built around what each person actually needs rather than a one-size-fits-all approach — whether that’s a care home that needs the right member of staff at short notice, or a family that needs support at home.
What guides us: safety comes first, in every placement and every care package we deliver. Every member of staff is rigorously vetted, trained and supported on an ongoing basis. Every care plan is built around the individual, with regular review. And we make ourselves available around the clock, because care doesn’t keep office hours.
Speaking out safely. We support the principle behind the NHS’s Speak Out Safely campaign. We want every member of our team — whether permanent, agency, temporary or a volunteer — to feel able to raise a genuine safety concern with their line manager or another member of the management team, and to know they won’t suffer any detriment to their career for doing so. We listen, we investigate fully, and we act on what we’re told, because raising a concern isn’t disloyalty to colleagues — it’s a duty to the people in our care. We put clients in the heart of all our care.
